Postural Yoga is the integration of the Alexander Technique Principles which corrects spinal alignment. Correct spinal alignment is fundamental to the practise of yoga.

Yoga is an ancient science of physical postures recorded in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. There are many different types of Yoga, but they all have the common aim to bring harmony and peace to the whole being.Yoga means union - to yoke. The practice of Yoga therefore unites mind, body and spirit.

What we offer

Yoga Asanas - Benefits
Strength, flexibility, mobile joints, increased energy, relief from muscle pain and stiffness with improved posture.

Pranayama - Benefits
Release of tension both physical and mental through correct breathing techniques. The breathing aspect of yoga can benefit heart rate and blood pressure.

Relaxation - Benefits
Better sleep, improved circulation and overall better general health.

Meditation - Benefits
The practise of Dhyana Meditation is the meditation of the heart. It encourages the flow of love within the heart, stilling the mind and creating a feeling of deep inner peace.

We give individual and small group tuition in your own home, workshops,
meditation and relaxation courses for small groups and Corporate Businesses

Yoga for Schools

What do I bring to Yoga?

Enthusiasm! Wear leggings or track-suit bottoms and bare feet. Bring a non-slip mat if you have it - try-out mats provided.


When should I not practice Yoga?

When suffering from acute back pain, severe muscular pains that could be related to posture.

All venues:
Fee for a 10 week block consists of the try-out price over a period of 10 weeks.
